30-Year-Old Instagram User Accused of Luring Minors with Drugs and Alcohol for Sexual Exploitation

Burbank police are seeking help from the community to find more victims connected to a 30-year-old man accused of sexually abusing minors he met on Instagram. Ivan Hernandez, a resident of Valley Village, was arrested on March 23 after officers received a tip related to possible drug activity. During the arrest, police found Hernandez in his vehicle with an underage girl.

Authorities say Hernandez was allegedly giving nitrous oxide, marijuana, and alcohol to young girls in exchange for sexual acts. Investigators believe he recorded these assaults on his phone. He reportedly used various Instagram accounts, including “noznbars” and “n2ohead,” to lure his victims by promising them drugs and alcohol.

Hernandez faces serious charges, including three counts of unlawful sex with a minor under 16 and two counts of arranging to meet a minor for lewd purposes. He is also charged with child endangerment, oral copulation of a minor, and possession of child sexual abuse material. He is currently being held without bail and has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

The police are particularly concerned that there may be more victims out there and are encouraging anyone with information to come forward. They can contact the Burbank Police Department at (818) 238-3210. The investigation is being conducted in collaboration with Homeland Security Investigations as part of the Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
