30-Year-Old Instagram User Accused of Luring Minors with Drugs and Alcohol for Sexual Exploitation

Burbank police are seeking help from the community to find more victims of a man accused of sexually abusing minors he met on Instagram. Ivan Hernandez, a 30-year-old from Valley Village, was arrested on March 23 after a tip-off led to an investigation into potential drug-related activities.

During the arrest, Hernandez was found in his vehicle with an underage girl. Authorities suspect that he was providing nitrous oxide, marijuana, and alcohol to young girls in exchange for sexual acts. Police believe he recorded these assaults on his phone and used Instagram to lure his victims with promises of drugs and alcohol.

Hernandez has several Instagram handles, including "noznbars" and "n2ohead," and detectives think there may be more victims out there. Following his arrest, he was charged on March 25 with multiple serious offenses. These include three counts of unlawful sex with a minor under 16 and two counts of arranging to meet with a minor for lewd purposes. He also faces charges for child endangerment and possession of child sexual abuse material.

Currently, Hernandez is being held without bail and is scheduled to appear in court on May 21. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Hernandez or similar incidents to reach out to the Burbank Police Department. The investigation is being conducted in partnership with Homeland Security Investigations and the Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
