White House Physician Declares Trump Completely Fit in Medical Report

President Trump recently underwent his annual physical examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and the results have been made public. According to the White House physician, Capt. Sean Barbabella, Trump is in excellent health, showing strong cardiac, pulmonary, and neurological functions.

The three-page medical report released on Sunday highlighted that Trump, who is 78 years old, has lost weight and now weighs 224 pounds, which is 20 pounds lighter than his last reported weight in 2020. His cholesterol levels have also improved, with his LDL, or "bad" cholesterol, now within an optimal range. He is currently taking two medications to manage his cholesterol.

Barbabella noted that Trump’s cognitive health is also strong. He underwent assessments for cognitive function, depression, and anxiety, scoring well in all categories. Trump mentioned that he took a cognitive test and reported getting every answer right.

However, the examination did uncover some abnormalities. Trump has scarring on his right ear from a gunshot wound he sustained during an assassination attempt in July. Additionally, a colonoscopy revealed diverticulosis and a benign polyp, leading to a recommendation for a follow-up colonoscopy in three years.

Despite these findings, Barbabella emphasized that Trump’s overall health is robust. The president’s vaccines are current, although specific immunizations were not detailed in the report. The physician concluded by noting that Trump’s days are filled with meetings, public appearances, and frequent golf victories.

This medical report is the first comprehensive health update since the assassination attempt. It contrasts with the more limited information released in previous years, reflecting a more transparent approach to sharing Trump’s health status.
