Vice President JD Vance recently discussed the Trump administration’s approach to deportation and the challenges posed by federal judges during an interview on Fox News’ "Fox & Friends." He emphasized that the administration was ready for legal battles, particularly against what he described as "liberal judges" who might interfere with deportation efforts.
Vance stated that the administration planned to take any legal disputes all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary. He mentioned that even if certain courts ruled against deportation for specific reasons, the administration could still proceed with deportations based on other grounds. "It’s not like deportations have stopped," he noted, acknowledging the ongoing challenges posed by what he termed "radical courts."
He expressed confidence in the administration’s strategy, saying, “We’re going to litigate it all the way to the Supreme Court. We think that we’re going to win.” Vance argued that a victory in the Supreme Court would settle the legal questions surrounding deportation once and for all. He criticized Democrats for focusing their resources on opposing the deportation of gang members, raising questions about their priorities.
Vance concluded by reiterating the administration’s preparedness for the legal fight ahead, indicating a commitment to continue pushing for their deportation policies despite judicial challenges.
