Search Launched for Philadelphia Driver Who Shot at Teen and Woman During Road Rage Incident

A manhunt is underway in Philadelphia after a road rage incident turned violent, leaving a 15-year-old boy and a 20-year-old woman injured. The shooting occurred around 7 p.m. on Monday at the intersection of 42nd and Girard Avenue, according to local police.

Authorities reported that the driver involved in the incident was a bearded Black man in his 40s. He was seen on multiple surveillance cameras just before the shooting. Footage shows him appearing to follow the victims’ car while leaning out of the window.

During the confrontation, the suspect opened fire, hitting the boy in the arm and grazing the woman on the chest. Both victims were quickly transported to nearby hospitals and are currently in stable condition.

Police described the suspect’s vehicle as a silver 2016-2017 Honda Civic. The car had noticeable damage to both front quarter panels, a missing hubcap on the passenger side, and a white vanity plate on the front bumper.

As investigators continue to gather evidence, they are urging anyone with information about the shooting or the suspect’s whereabouts to come forward. The community is on high alert as police work to apprehend the driver responsible for this alarming act of violence.
