Pam Bondi Unveils Federal Charges Against Trump Critic Alleged to Have Firebombed Tesla in Colorado

Federal charges have been brought against a Colorado man for his alleged role in a firebombing incident at a Tesla dealership. Cooper Jo Frederick, 24, is accused of throwing an incendiary device at the Loveland location on March 7. He was arrested in Plano, Texas, following an FBI investigation.

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the charges, emphasizing the seriousness of the act. She stated, “If you take part in the wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, we will find you, arrest you and put you behind bars.” Frederick is facing a possible 20-year prison sentence if convicted.

Before the federal charges, Frederick was arrested on March 14 in Colorado. He was charged with multiple offenses, including possessing and manufacturing incendiary devices, as well as causing significant damage to the dealership. The Loveland Police Department noted that this incident was part of a troubling pattern, as it marked the fifth crime reported at the dealership in just over a month. Other incidents included vandalism, such as rocks thrown at vehicles and graffiti on the property.

Frederick is not alone in facing legal consequences. Another individual involved in the incident, who identifies as Lucy Grace Nelson, has also been charged federally. Nelson faces charges related to using Molotov cocktails during the same event and has been accused of possession of unregistered firearms.

These incidents at the Tesla dealership are part of a larger trend of protests and vandalism directed at Tesla locations across the country. These actions are reportedly in response to the establishment of the Department of Government Efficiency and Elon Musk’s ties to political figures. Attorney General Bondi has labeled these attacks as “domestic terrorism” and has pledged to pursue strict legal action against those responsible.

As the situation unfolds, it raises questions about the motivations behind these protests and the growing tensions surrounding Tesla and its leadership.
