Mother of Rachel Morin, who was killed by an undocumented migrant, responds to whether she would speak with Sen. Chris Van Hollen.

Patty Morin, the mother of murder victim Rachel Morin, is speaking out against Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen. Her criticism comes after Van Hollen visited Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal immigrant deported to El Salvador, who has been linked to Rachel’s murder. Patty claims she has not heard from the senator since her daughter’s tragic death over a year ago.

In an interview on "The Ingraham Angle," Patty expressed her frustration that Van Hollen chose to advocate for a deported criminal instead of supporting victims like her daughter. She emphasized that his actions reflect poorly on his character. "You know a man by the words that he speaks, but also by his actions or lack of actions," she stated.

Rachel Morin was murdered by Garcia, who had a history of violence and was deported to a prison in El Salvador. Patty pointed out that despite the pain and loss her family has endured, she has had no contact with Van Hollen, who she believes should be focusing on the victims of violent crimes committed by illegal immigrants.

Patty mentioned that if Van Hollen were to reach out, she would be open to speaking with him, but she doubts it would lead to any meaningful change. "I think if he did make the effort to call, it would just be, like, a political stunt to say he did it," she remarked.

Van Hollen’s recent trip to El Salvador was to meet with Garcia, further fueling Patty’s anger. She criticized the senator for using taxpayer money to support someone she views as a criminal. "A criminal, as in he’s here illegally, so he’s already broken federal law about being in the country illegally," she said.

The senator has not responded to requests for comment regarding Patty’s statements or the funding for his trip. Meanwhile, Patty Morin continues to advocate for awareness about the dangers posed by illegal immigrants, urging the media to tell the truth about these issues.
