Large Brawl and Gunfire Erupt at SoCal In-N-Out with 20 to 30 Participants

A chaotic scene unfolded at the In-N-Out restaurant in Murrieta on Saturday night, as a large brawl erupted involving an estimated 20 to 30 people. Customers who were hoping for a quiet meal were instead treated to a spectacle of violence.

The fight broke out at the fast-food location on Avenida Acacias. When police arrived, most of the participants had already fled the scene, making it difficult for officers to gather immediate information about what had happened. Although the exact cause of the altercation remains unclear, police reported that at one point, someone discharged a firearm. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries or property damage linked to the gunfire.

Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the restaurant to gather more details about the incident. However, they have not yet released any specific information. The Murrieta Police Department is urging anyone with information about the brawl to come forward. They can contact the department at (951) 461-6353 or send an email to rleitch@murrietaca.gov.

This incident highlights the sometimes unpredictable nature of fast-food dining experiences, which are usually associated with quick service and casual meals, rather than violence. As the investigation continues, the community is left to wonder what sparked such a large-scale fight in a place known for its burgers and fries.
