Israeli U.N. Ambassador Denounces Colorado Terror Attack: This Is Terrorism

A violent incident occurred at Park Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado, where several people were injured during a pro-Israel demonstration. The attack, described by Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon as an act of terrorism, involved a suspect throwing Molotov cocktails at protesters advocating for the return of hostages held by Hamas.

The event took place as Jewish individuals marched peacefully, holding signs and flags. Witnesses reported seeing flames and smoke, with one person recalling a scene of chaos where a woman was on the ground in flames and others suffered burns. The attack reportedly targeted participants of a regular Sunday walk that has been held since October 7, 2023.

According to Danon, this incident reflects a broader issue of anti-Semitism that extends beyond international borders, stating, “Terrorism against Jews does not stop at the Gaza border.” He called for immediate action against those who incite violence.

Eyewitness accounts described the attacker as a man in his 50s, who allegedly shouted anti-Zionist remarks while carrying out the assault. One witness noted that the attack seemed premeditated, as it occurred during a scheduled peaceful protest.

The FBI is currently investigating the incident. Director Kash Patel confirmed that agents and local law enforcement are on the scene, emphasizing the targeted nature of the attack. Colorado Governor Jared Polis expressed his concern, stating that he is closely monitoring the situation and denouncing hate-filled acts.

Videos circulating on social media show the suspect shouting phrases like “end Zionists” and “Palestine is Free,” further highlighting the charged atmosphere surrounding the attack. The situation continues to unfold as authorities gather more information and provide updates on the investigation.
