Elon Musk Expresses Disappointment in GOPs Big, Beautiful Bill

On Tuesday, CBS shared a preview of an upcoming interview with Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla. The interview will air on “Sunday Morning.” During the chat, Musk expressed his disappointment with a major spending bill supported by President Donald Trump, which he referred to as the “big beautiful bill.”

Musk voiced concerns that the bill would increase the budget deficit instead of reducing it. He believes this could negatively impact the work being done by the DOGE team, which is associated with the popular cryptocurrency Dogecoin. Musk stated, “I was like, disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, not decrease it and undermines the work the DOGE team is doing.”

In the interview, correspondent David Pogue remarked that he thought the bill could erase all the progress made with DOGE in just one year. Musk responded with his own take on the bill, saying, “I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful. But I don’t know if it can be both. My personal opinion.”

This interview highlights Musk’s critical view of government spending and its potential effects on innovation and projects he supports. As a prominent figure in both the tech and cryptocurrency worlds, his opinions often draw attention and spark discussions about fiscal policy and its implications.
