Burglars Ransack Brad Pitts L.A. Home While He Attends F1 Premiere

Thieves broke into Brad Pitt’s home in Los Angeles on Wednesday night while the actor was away. The incident took place around 10:30 p.m. at his residence in the Los Feliz area. According to police, at least three suspects climbed over the security fence and smashed a window to gain entry.

Once inside, the burglars caused significant chaos, tossing Pitt’s belongings around as they searched for valuables. Sources familiar with the situation described the scene as a "real mess." While it is unclear what specific items were stolen, the break-in adds to a troubling trend of celebrity homes being targeted by thieves.

Pitt’s home, known as the Steel House, is one of several properties he owns. At the time of the burglary, he was in London attending the European premiere of “F1: The Movie.” This incident is part of a larger pattern of burglaries affecting high-profile individuals in Los Angeles, with organized crime groups, particularly from South America, increasingly targeting upscale neighborhoods.

Just earlier this month, French soccer player Olivier Giroud had his home ransacked, resulting in the theft of $500,000 worth of jewelry and watches. Similarly, on Valentine’s Day, actors Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban also experienced a break-in at their Beverly Hills home.

Law enforcement has been working to combat these crime waves. In August, the FBI, in collaboration with local police, dismantled a major crime ring that had been operating in Southern California. This group was responsible for numerous thefts across the country, with losses estimated at around $35 million to homeowners and businesses.

As authorities continue to address this issue, it raises concerns about the safety of residents in affluent areas and the ongoing threat posed by organized crime.
