The incident occurred on Friday near the Canadian border, prompting officials to warn residents to stay away from the swarm of buzzing insects.
The truck was transporting about 70,000 pounds of active honey bee hives when it flipped over on a road. Emergency services quickly responded, enlisting the help of experienced bee-keepers to manage the situation. Their main goal is to save as many bees as possible and to ensure public safety.
