Peace talks between Ukraine and Russia are ongoing, with some progress reported. In the Kursk region, tensions escalated as Putin demanded the surrender of Ukrainian troops. Over the weekend, after intense fighting, Ukrainian forces retreated from most of the area, now holding only a small section of land within Russia.
