Blagojevich Takes Aim at Democrats: Labels Schiff the Elvis of Deceit, Claims Party Would Rather Have a Coma Patient Than Harris

Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has made headlines again with sharp criticisms of the Democratic Party. In a recent appearance on Fox News’ "Jesse Watters Primetime," Blagojevich expressed strong disapproval of how his party has handled President Joe Biden’s declining mental health. He described the Democratic Party as hypocritical and accused them of supporting a "coma" patient for their own political gain.

Blagojevich, who was once imprisoned for corruption, did not hold back. He claimed that the party has created a "Hall of Fame for Liars," pointing specifically to Senator Adam Schiff as the standout member. He argued that instead of addressing Biden’s health issues, Democrats would rather cover them up, suggesting they prefer the current situation over the possibility of Vice President Kamala Harris stepping into the presidency.

During the interview, Blagojevich was asked about the Democrats’ reluctance to move on from Biden. He responded by questioning their loyalty to the American people, saying that they seem to prioritize political strategies over the country’s well-being. He quoted playwright Tennessee Williams, stating that a liar who is also a hypocrite is even worse.

Blagojevich’s comments come amid ongoing discussions about Biden’s fitness for office. He noted that Democrats could have invoked the 25th Amendment to replace Biden but chose not to, implying that they might believe a struggling Biden is a safer choice than Harris.

The former governor also took the opportunity to defend Donald Trump, claiming that Trump has been unfairly maligned over issues like Russian collusion and the Stormy Daniels affair. He insisted that the Democrats are the ones who should be scrutinized for dishonesty.

Blagojevich’s remarks are significant, especially considering his past and the political landscape. He was removed from office in 2009 for attempting to sell Obama’s Senate seat and was later pardoned by Trump after serving time. His perspective sheds light on internal party dynamics and the challenges facing Democrats as they navigate Biden’s presidency.
