Multiple Arrests Made in Lancaster After Body Found in U-Haul Truck

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies made several arrests after discovering a body inside a U-Haul truck in Lancaster early Sunday morning. The incident began when deputies responded to a missing person report at the Shadow Park Inn on Sierra Highway around 1:49 a.m.

Upon arriving at the motel, deputies reviewed security footage that showed a U-Haul leaving the premises shortly before their arrival. They were able to track the vehicle to a nearby home. When they approached the U-Haul, deputies looked inside a large trash bin located in the rear cargo area and found a deceased individual.

Homicide detectives are currently investigating the case. They have not yet identified the deceased or confirmed whether foul play was involved. Meanwhile, an unspecified number of people have been taken into custody for questioning as part of the investigation.

The motel manager did not respond to requests for comment. As the investigation unfolds, authorities are working to gather more information about the circumstances surrounding this troubling discovery.
