Charlie Dixon, the former executive producer of content at Fox Sports, has left the network amid serious allegations of sexual misconduct. Dixon has been accused of sexual battery in two lawsuits from former employees, and one of those lawsuits also claims sexual assault.
In a statement, Dixon’s attorney, John Ly, said that Fox Sports informed Dixon he was being let go for violating company policy unrelated to the lawsuits. The specific issue was that he did not report to human resources that a production company had hired his wife as a temporary freelancer. Dixon, however, maintains that he asked his supervisor about the hire and received no objections.
The allegations against Dixon include a claim from Julie Stewart-Binks, a former anchor and reporter at Fox Sports. In her lawsuit, she accuses Dixon of holding her against a wall and trying to force his tongue into her mouth after a meeting in 2016. Following this incident, Stewart-Binks states her contract was not renewed, and her lawsuit includes charges of sexual assault and sexual battery against Dixon, Fox Sports, and its parent company, Fox Corp.
Dixon is also named in another lawsuit filed by hairstylist Noushin Faraji, who alleges he touched her inappropriately at a birthday party for another employee. Her lawsuit claims sexual battery and a hostile work environment.
Fox Sports has acknowledged Dixon’s departure but has not commented further, stating only that he is no longer with the company. The network has previously addressed the allegations, noting they date back several years and that they conducted an investigation at the time.
Dixon’s attorney emphasized that he has cooperated fully with the investigation and denies any wrongdoing.
