Katt gained recognition for his role as Clint Bruno in the cult classic "Dazed and Confused," directed by Richard Linklater. The film, released in 1993, featured a star-studded cast, including Matthew McConaughey and Ben Affleck. Katt’s portrayal of the high school bully left a lasting impression.

Throughout his career, Katt worked with Linklater on several projects, including "subUrbia," "Waking Life," and "School of Rock."
