OJ Simpsons Bible from Robert Kardashian Sr. Fetches High Price at Auction

A Bible that belonged to the late lawyer Robert Kardashian Sr. has made headlines after selling for over $80,000 at auction. This Bible was given to O.J. Simpson, Kardashian’s former client, before Kardashian’s death. The auction took place on March 29, 2025, and was reported by TMZ.

The Bible fetched a final price of $80,276 after receiving a total of 49 bids, with 14 bids placed on the last day of the auction. Kardashian’s daughter, Kim Kardashian, reportedly offered $15,000 to buy the Bible but was turned down. The auction was conducted by Goldin Auctions, which detailed the bidding process on its website.

The Bible holds special significance as it contains an inscription from Kardashian, who was a key figure in Simpson’s infamous murder trial. The message reads, "O.J., this book will help. God loves and he will speak to you with his words. Read this book every day. God has a definite plan for your life. You are his child, and he will use you again. I love you, and God loves you."

Malcolm LaVergne, the special administrator of Simpson’s estate, commented on the sale, noting that Simpson’s legacy continues to endure, whether people loved or hated him. The auction itself generated around $300,000 in total sales, featuring other items like a signed photo of Simpson with former President Bill Clinton, which sold for over $18,000, and a replica of Simpson’s Heisman Trophy, which went for $42,700.

O.J. Simpson, known for his remarkable NFL career and later legal troubles, was acquitted of murder charges in 1995 for the deaths of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. Despite being found not guilty, he faced numerous legal challenges over the years, including a civil lawsuit that resulted in a judgment against him for $33.5 million, which he never fully paid.

Simpson passed away on April 10, 2024, after battling prostate cancer. His story continues to capture public interest, as evidenced by the auction of this personal artifact.
